Med Ninjas is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Rock Hill, South Carolina.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: MRI TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelMRI Tech Job Summary: - Operate MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scanners to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation. - Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining processes and ensuring safety and comfort. - Position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques according to physician instructions. - Monitor patient during scanning, recognizing and responding to any complications or distress. - Ensure proper functioning of MRI equipment; perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance. - Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in compliance with privacy regulations. - Follow established protocols for safety, including screening patients for contraindications (e.g., metal implants). - Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of MRI suite and associated areas. - Stay current with continuing education and advancements in MRI technology and safety.
