Travel MRI Technologist - $1,960 per week

About the role

MRI Technologist position in a short-term acute care facility. The role involves operating Siemens Magnetom Vida 3T and GE SIGNA HDe 1.5T MRI systems, providing advanced imaging services with a focus on patient safety and quality. The candidate will float between units as needed, with a schedule primarily from Thursday to Wednesday, with shift times from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM weekdays and 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate Siemens Magnetom Vida 3T and GE SIGNA HDe 1.5T MRI systems.
• Provide advanced imaging services while ensuring patient safety and image quality.
• Float between units as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and work independently within the scope of MRI procedures.
• Participate in on-call duties one night per week (9 PM–6 AM).
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 specified holidays.

Requirements

• Certification in ARRT MRI.
• BLS certification.
• Valid state license (compact license accepted).
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience.
• Experience with Siemens and GE MRI systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior trauma level I or II experience.
• Community hospital experience.
• Experience with Epic charting system.

Special Requirements

• Epic experience (hard stop requirement).
• Siemens MRI experience (hard stop requirement).
• On‑call one night a week from 9 PM to 6 AM.
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 specified holidays.
• Ability to pass clinical and operational screening.

Schedule

• 9‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Shift pattern: Thursday to Wednesday.
• Weekday shift: 11:30 AM – 9:00 PM.
• Weekend shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM.
