MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a contract with one of our top healthcare clients. The position offers a variety of benefits including weekly pay, full coverage of credentialing fees, private housing or housing allowance, and travel reimbursement.
Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and MRI principles to operate MRI scanners and assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries.
- Ensure patient, staff, and visitor safety during MRI procedures.
- Set appropriate technical parameters and observe image data during scans.
- Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
- Comply with regulatory and professional guidelines.
- Provide quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers.
Requirements
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid state radiology registration as required by law.
- Eighteen months of MRI tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
Qualifications
