About the role

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a contract with one of our top healthcare clients. The position offers a variety of benefits including weekly pay, full coverage of credentialing fees, private housing or housing allowance, and travel reimbursement.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and MRI principles to operate MRI scanners and assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries.
  • Ensure patient, staff, and visitor safety during MRI procedures.
  • Set appropriate technical parameters and observe image data during scans.
  • Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
  • Comply with regulatory and professional guidelines.
  • Provide quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers.

Requirements

  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by law.
  • Eighteen months of MRI tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
