Travel MRI Technologist - $1,832 per week

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13‑week travel contract at a partnering hospital in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The assignment starts ASAP, runs 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts, and may be extended.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues
• Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality
• Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
• Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT registration
• Phillips MRI Systems experience
• Current state license (if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience in a hospital or imaging center
• Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and patient care skills

Pay

$1,670 – $1,832 per week (based on 8‑hour shifts, 40 hours/week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined).

Schedule

8‑hour day shifts, 40 hours per week.
