About the role
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a contract position in Port St Lucie, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and MRI principles to operate scanners safely and efficiently.
- Absorb patients and coils onto MRI scanning tables and observe images on monitors during scans.
- Inject contrast media as needed, set technical parameters, and monitor scan results.
- Recognize and respond to potential emergencies and ensure patient safety.
- Comply with regulatory standards and practice guidelines.
- Provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Create a safe work environment for both staff and patients.
Requirements
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid state radiology registration.
- Eighteen months of MRI tech experience, preferably in critical care settings.
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
