Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging safely and efficiently based on established guidelines and protocols.
- Have sound knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, spine anatomy, neuro-vascular anatomy, and head and neck anatomy including knowledge of common head and neck diseases and their processes.
- Work independently and in collaboration with Radiologists, the Lead Imaging Specialist, Associate Director Radiology and fellow technologists to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of exams.
- Provide comfort and safety to patients in order to achieve the highest diagnostic imaging quality possible.
Requirements
- Current registration as an MRI Technologist in the state of Massachusetts.
- Experience in performing MRI imaging.
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, spine anatomy, neuro-vascular anatomy, and head and neck anatomy including knowledge of common head and neck diseases and their processes.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program.
- Current registration as an MRI Technologist in the state of Massachusetts.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in MRI technology.
Skills
- Strong understanding of MRI imaging techniques and protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
