Responsibilities

Perform MRI imaging safely and efficiently based on established guidelines and protocols.
Have sound knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, spine anatomy, neuro-vascular anatomy, and head and neck anatomy including knowledge of common head and neck diseases and their processes.
Work independently and in collaboration with Radiologists, the Lead Imaging Specialist, Associate Director Radiology and fellow technologists to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of exams.
Provide comfort and safety to patients in order to achieve the highest diagnostic imaging quality possible.

Requirements

Current registration as an MRI Technologist in the state of Massachusetts.
Experience in performing MRI imaging.
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, spine anatomy, neuro-vascular anatomy, and head and neck anatomy including knowledge of common head and neck diseases and their processes.
Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program.
Current registration as an MRI Technologist in the state of Massachusetts.
At least 1 year of relevant experience in MRI technology.

Skills

Strong understanding of MRI imaging techniques and protocols.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
