Travel: MRI Tech/Radiology

Key Responsibilities

• C Conduct MRI scans on patients of varying ages and conditions, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.
• B Prepare and position patients appropriately for MRI procedures to obtain the best possible images while minimizing discomfort.
• C Ensure the operation and maintenance of the Siemens Magnetom Symphony Maestro MRI machine (preferred experience).
• D Follow safety protocols for the use of MRI equipment, including magnetic field safety.
• E Maintain accurate patient records and document MRI results in the hospital’s system.
• F Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure proper diagnosis through diagnostic imaging.
• G Assist with patient education, ensuring they understand the procedure and feel at ease during the scan.
• H Participate in on-call shifts as required, including weekday (5:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and weekend (every other weekend, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) call shifts.

Qualifications

• A MRI Certification required (ARRT MRI or equivalent).
• B 3-5 years of experience working as an MRI Tech in a clinical or hospital setting.
• C Experience with Siemens Magnetom Symphony Maestro is highly preferred.
• D Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations during emergency or critical cases.
• E Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, physicians, and staff.
• F Flexibility to work weekends and on-call shifts as required.
