Key Responsibilities
- C Conduct MRI scans on patients of varying ages and conditions, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.
- B Prepare and position patients appropriately for MRI procedures to obtain the best possible images while minimizing discomfort.
- C Ensure the operation and maintenance of the Siemens Magnetom Symphony Maestro MRI machine (preferred experience).
- D Follow safety protocols for the use of MRI equipment, including magnetic field safety.
- E Maintain accurate patient records and document MRI results in the hospital’s system.
- F Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure proper diagnosis through diagnostic imaging.
- G Assist with patient education, ensuring they understand the procedure and feel at ease during the scan.
- H Participate in on-call shifts as required, including weekday (5:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and weekend (every other weekend, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) call shifts.
Qualifications
- A MRI Certification required (ARRT MRI or equivalent).
- B 3-5 years of experience working as an MRI Tech in a clinical or hospital setting.
- C Experience with Siemens Magnetom Symphony Maestro is highly preferred.
- D Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations during emergency or critical cases.
- E Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, physicians, and staff.
- F Flexibility to work weekends and on-call shifts as required.
