About the Role

Responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures under the supervision of a radiologist. Duties include positioning patients, operating equipment, and documenting findings.

Responsibilities

• Position patients appropriately for imaging studies
• Operate MRI equipment according to safety protocols
• Document patient information accurately and timely
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE guidelines
• Administer contrast media as required
• Perform radiation safety checks
• Start peripheral IVs as needed
• Use surface coils and various imaging sequences
• Accurately chart findings and report results
• Comply with facility policies and procedures
• Adhere to infection control practices

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Current ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• Experience with adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, ER/Trauma, abdominal, female pelvis, male pelvis, breast, chest, brain, cranial nerves, face/soft tissue neck, head, cervical, lumbar, sacrum/coccyx, spinal trauma, thoracic MRI, and other relevant imaging modalities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
