About the role
A travel MRI tech position is available in Salt Lake City, UT. This role will be working in radiology and cardiology departments.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans on patients in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure patient comfort and monitor their condition during the procedure
- Accurately document patient information and scan results in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Adhere to isolation precautions and proper PPE usage
- Utilize various imaging techniques such as diffusion, multiplanar reconstruction, and perfusion
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- BLS certification required
- Either ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification required
- Knowledge of Siemens equipment
- Skills in abdomen, brain, breast, cervical, chest, face/soft tissue neck, female pelvis, hip/bony pelvis, image post-processing, knee, lumbar, male pelvis, multiplanar reconstruction, shoulder, thoracic, and other specified imaging techniques
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current state licensure as an MRI technologist
- Passing score on the MRI technologist exam

Schedule
The schedule is 4x10-hour shifts, starting at 11:00 AM and ending at 22:00 PM.
Pay
The pay range is $2,743.20 to $2,936.40 per week.
