Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures under supervision
• Prepare patients for MRI exams
• Administer contrast media as required
• Document patient information accurately in the charting system
• Ensure proper isolation precautions and PPE usage
• Perform image post-processing techniques as needed
• Use various imaging modalities such as T-1, T-2, diffusion, gradient echo, and spin echo images
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Current certification as a Registered MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR)
• BLS certification
• Knowledge of various imaging modalities and techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited MRI technologist program
• Experience with PACS and Epic charting systems
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
