About the role

Aya is seeking a Travel MRI Tech to join their team in Fremont, OH.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI procedures under supervision, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Prepare patients for MRI scans, including positioning and explaining the procedure.
  • Operate MRI equipment, adjusting settings as necessary to obtain clear images.
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently using the Epic charting system.
  • Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control measures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and patient satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Current ARRT R certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in radiology or cardiology.
  • Knowledge of various imaging modalities such as Abdomen, Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, etc.
  • Experience with preparing and administering contrast media.
  • Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and related technologies.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the United States.

Schedule

This position will be on a 5x8-hour schedule, starting at 06:30 and ending at 15:30, with weekends and evenings included.

Pay

The pay for this position ranges from $2,673.20 to $2,866.00 per week.
