Travel MRI Tech - $2,184 per week
About the role
GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13‑week contract in Chesapeake, Virginia (Coastal Virginia, minutes from Virginia Beach and Norfolk). The assignment starts 11/02/2026. Chesapeake will not consider any license or background hits — candidates must have a clean record.
Schedule
Night shift, 3×12‑hour shifts per week (20:00–08:00), 36 hours per week. Ability to rotate on‑call shifts is required.
Pay
Weekly gross pay: $2,075 – $2,184. Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in MRI.
- BLS certification required.
- ARRT certification required.
- GE MRI experience preferred.
- Ability to rotate on‑call shifts.
