About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Fort Pierce, Florida. Assignment details: start date September 28, 2026, duration 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, night shift (3×12‑hour shifts). The facility has one GE 1.5T Discovery 450 scanner, 1:1 patient ratios, uses Meditech EMR, and is Joint Commission accredited, a Certified Primary Stroke Center, and a 5‑star heart‑attack treatment recipient for 11 consecutive years. Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans producing detailed images of internal body structures without the use of X‑rays.
• Maintain the required all‑black scrub color.
• Work independently with critical thinking, flexibility, and adaptability.
• Adhere to 12‑hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with no on‑call requirements.
• Be willing to work weekends and nights as needed.

Requirements

• BLS and ARRT certification required (state license if applicable).
• ACLS preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Critical thinking, flexibility, and adaptability required.
• Willingness to work weekends and nights.
• No on‑call responsibilities.
• Must reside outside a 50‑mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
