Travel Mother Baby RN - $2,175 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a quality Postpartum / Mother-Baby Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients.

Responsibilities

• Educate and assist new mothers with physical and emotional needs during the postpartum period
• Perform the dual role of caring for infants and educating mothers about care
• Care for both mothers and their newborns after delivery
• Monitor mothers and help ensure proper recovery in the hours following delivery
• Recognize postpartum depression and teach new mothers how to address emotions
• Teach new parents how to care for, bathe, breastfeed and/or bottle-feed the newborn, and monitor the newborn's health

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS & NRP Certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Mother/Baby setting
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility

Schedule

• Start Date: 10/05/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• 12 hour night shifts
