MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Postpartum / Mother-Baby Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Issaquah, Washington.
About the Role
This is a travel nursing position with a duration of 13 weeks, starting on 09/14/2026. The role requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift.
Responsibilities
- Educate and assist new mothers with physical and emotional needs during the postpartum period.
- Care for both mothers and their newborns after delivery, ensuring proper recovery.
- Monitor mothers and recognize signs of postpartum depression; teach new moms how to address emotions.
- Teach new parents how to care for, bathe, breastfeed, and/or bottle-feed the newborn, and monitor the newborn’s health.
- Play a crucial role in the hours following delivery, providing essential support and monitoring.
Requirements
- Active RN License.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP Certification.
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Mother/Baby setting.
- Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
