Travel MICU RN - $2,509 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) assignment in Salem, Massachusetts. The assignment starts November 1, 2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage care of adult patients with life‑threatening conditions requiring complex assessment and high‑intensity therapies.
• Provide patient care, education, and support to families.
• Ensure proper functioning of life‑support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for signs of distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures for prompt control of changes in patient condition.
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care ICU setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
