Travel MEP Senior Superintendent-Mission Critical

About the role

The Senior Superintendent is responsible for the timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the project schedule and maintain accurate reports describing project status.
• Provide timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces.
• Review status and project progress with the Project Manager and client representatives on a regular basis.
• Ensure safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when operating tools and equipment.
• Direct subcontractor activities within pharma projects.
• Analyze manpower, material, equipment requirements and interface the requirements with others as designated by supervising superintendent.
• Implement and enforce policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.
• Prepare reports and forecasts as required and keep supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activities.
• Ensure safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when in the operational area; tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field experience in commercial projects.
• Commercial and Life Science construction experience is preferred.
• Experience should include some supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Well-developed communication, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills are required.
