About the role

Join a Global Leader in Workforce Solutions - N2S Healthcare. Conduct mental health screenings and assessments, provide treatment based on inmate needs, document activities, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate knowledge of psychological counseling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on available records and clinical interviews.
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on evaluations of needs and level of functioning.
• Document treatment and evaluation activities in the health care record for each person seen.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information.
• Provide appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address the needs of inmates.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical area.
• Five (5) years of clinical experience, including two (2) years in a comparable job position.
• Must possess appropriate certification or licensing in the state where practice occurs, such as LPC or LCSW.
• Hold a BLS from AHA and one of the following licenses in the applicable state of practice without any restrictions or supervision required: LCSW, LPC.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LCSW or LPC license in the state of New Mexico.
• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field.
• Certified with a current AHA BLS.
• At least 5 years of clinical experience as a Mental Health Therapist or in a related role.
