Wellpath serves hundreds of thousands of unique individuals monthly, many of whom receive direct clinical care, including life-saving interventions. We offer ongoing training and development for licensed and unlicensed healthcare team members, with best-in-class clinical resources for training, education, and point-of-care support.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver clinical services including individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and psychological assessments in correctional settings
  • Complete clinical documentation, service reports, and treatment evaluations
  • Consult with institutional staff to support mental health management of persons served
  • Participate in program development, training, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide diagnostic evaluations and mental health training
  • Travel 100% to provide services across multiple facilities in the Eastern region (FL, GA, NC, SC, TN, VA)

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a behavioral/social science field from an accredited college or university
  • Coursework and professional experience in mental health counseling, psychotherapy, diagnosis, and psychological assessment
  • Must be independently licensed in North Carolina (LMSW, LPC, or similar licensure from the appropriate state licensing board)
  • Must maintain CPR certification and any other required certifications (e.g., First Aid)
  • Must be able and willing to travel up to 100% of the time
  • Corrections experience required

Schedule

This is a full-time, 40-hour weekly position with the option to work either 4 (10-hour) days or 5 (8-hour) days per week. The role requires 95% travel.

Pay

Pay is $55/hour. Compensation includes mileage reimbursement (to and from your home), meals, and hotel lodging.
