MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Float PCU (Progressive Care Unit) assignment in Parkersburg, West Virginia. The role involves providing Med‑Surg care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures and managing patients receiving pharmaceutical treatments.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures; attend to those being treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness.
• Be well‑versed in a large variety of health conditions due to the broad range of medical conditions encountered.
• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post‑surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
