About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 13-week assignment starting July 24, 2026, in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients recovering from surgery or illness
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications as necessary
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient progress and communicate with family members about treatment plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in West Virginia
- Experience in step-down unit preferred
- Knowledge of step-down unit protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
