About the role
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Medical Technologist for a travel job in Atlanta, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Test blood and bodily fluids using complex laboratory equipment.
- Measure drug or chemical levels in the blood to ensure therapeutic medication levels.
- Analyze and interpret laboratory test results according to the lab’s protocol.
- Examine specimens for bacteria, viruses, or parasites.
- Use cell counters, cultures, microscopes, and other laboratory equipment.
Requirements
- Active certification through ASCP, AMT, HEW or AAB required.
- Eighteen months of Medical Laboratory Technologist / Technician experience required.
- A state license may be required.
- Basic grasp of scientific laboratory procedures, including using laboratory equipment and generating reports from laboratory tests.
