Travel Medical Surgical Telemetry RN - $2,825 per week

About the Role

Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical setting with telemetry monitoring, supporting a diverse patient population across multiple units.

Responsibilities

• Manage ventilators (RT, RN responsible for administering nebulizers)
• Perform unit-specific procedures such as 12-lead EKGs, lasix gtt, blood transfusions, telemetry monitoring
• Support 15 medical surgical units, specializing in neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, general surgery, gyn, GU, hips and joints, oncology, transplant liver and kidneys, and vascular

Schedule

• Rotating shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Orientation is weekly, every Monday barring holidays
• Travel RNs are assigned to a unit for 2-3 weeks, with some assignments announced 2 hours prior to shifts
• Every other weekend and holidays are required
• No call required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• CPR-AHA certification
• ACLS-AHA certification
• Experience in a teaching hospital
• Level I trauma experience
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records
• Must be separated from the healthcare organization for 6+ months to be considered
• Candidates must provide availability at time of submission, including dates and times for interview

• Experience in a teaching hospital
• Specialty area expertise

Additional Details

• Inpatient patient ratios average from 4:1 on days to 6:1 on nights
• Uniform: Any color scrubs
