About the role

The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Nurse with Telemetry specialization for a day shift position in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing patient care in an acute medical-surgical setting with telemetry monitoring, requiring proficiency in interpretation of strip readings and medication administration. The assignment is for 8 weeks starting January 5, 2027, with a maximum of three days off.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in an acute medical-surgical setting with telemetry monitoring; interpret ECG strips and administer medications; work 12‑hour day shifts, minimum 36 hours per week; may be required to float to other units as needed.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years recent acute Medical Surgical with Telemetry experience
• CPR and ACLS certifications
• Epic EHR experience required
• Ability to read and interpret own telemetry strips (unit has no telemetry technicians)
• Must pass ECG/telemetry and medication testing during onboarding (Zoom‑administered, 85% passing score, completed within 48 hours, no re‑sit)

Qualifications

• Preferred: Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Float rotation may be required
