The role requires managing patient care with a focus on detailed patient monitoring, including insulin, emolol, and sodium drips, within a hospital setting. Job Details: Position Description: This is an adaptive acuity unit; at times, travelers will be expected to provide PCU care (3:1 ratio). Drip experience is mandatory and includes insulin, emolol, and sodium drips. CHARGE responsibility is required for this position. Certifications and Education Requirements: Vermont RN License or Compact licensure; active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required. Experience Requirements: 2+ years of current medical-surgical and telemetry experience needed; charge experience is mandatory; drip experience is required; ICU experience is preferred. Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with progressive care unit, telemetry, and medical-surgical nursing; willingness to float to any inpatient unit within scope is strongly required. Additional Information: Must have own vehicle; all scheduling requests must be made at submission. RTO requests are limited; specific holiday coverage is required.
