Travel Medical Surgical Telemetry RN - $2,070 per week

Job Summary

Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical with Telemetry - Lee's Summit, MO. This position involves providing high-quality patient care within a community hospital setting, with a primary focus on telemetry units. The nurse will be responsible for managing patients with various cardiac and medical conditions, ensuring safety and adherence to clinical protocols.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid licenses with at least 2 years of clinical experience, including community hospital settings;
• Current certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale), and CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute);
• Experience with community hospital charting systems, telemetry, and patient management;
• Able to float within scope as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous charge nurse experience, working in MS/Tele, telemetry oncology, neuro stepdown, or ICU units;
• Certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.

Float

The candidate may be required to float between departments and units.

Additional Information

• The assignment includes clinical responsibilities such as cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, medication administration, and ventilator management.
• The position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients with acute cardiac, respiratory, and other medical conditions.
• The assignment begins on 08/31/2026, with a required compliance deadline of two Fridays prior to start date.
