Travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry position in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry. Discipline: RN. Start date: November 9, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with focus on cardiovascular and neurological conditions.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac drips.
• Care for patients with complex medical conditions such as sepsis, pneumonia, and post‑cardiac procedures.
• Operate telemetry equipment and manage IV therapies.
• Respond to rapid response teams as needed.
• Float between units/departments and facilities as required.

Requirements

• Current RN license (valid in state of assignment).
• BLS, NIHSS, ACLS, and CPI certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience, including community hospital experience.
• Experience with Med Surg/Telemetry, Neuro, ER Holding, and Stepdown units.
• Ability to float between departments and facilities.
• Completion of required compliance modules prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous charge nurse experience.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
• Experience with specific patient populations such as post‑MI or post‑cardiac cath.

Schedule

Days shift, 12‑hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week. Assignment runs from November 9, 2026 through February 8, 2027 (13 weeks).
