Travel Medical Surgical Telemetry RN - $1,765 per week

About the role

Medical‑Surgical with Telemetry (Tele) travel nurses are needed at a 495‑bed Level II Trauma Center in Winchester, Virginia. The role involves providing acute care, floating to various units within the facility, and working on a rotating schedule. The assignment runs 13 weeks (10/12/2026 – 01/11/2027) with three openings, and travel is limited to a 50‑mile radius of Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality patient care in medical‑surgical and telemetry units.
• Float to other units as needed to support staffing and patient needs.
• Maintain acute‑care standards in a 495‑bed environment.
• Adhere to a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend and occasional holiday coverage.

Required qualifications

• Current Virginia RN license or an active compact license.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in telemetry or medical‑surgical nursing.
• At least 2 years travel nursing experience.

• Experience in cardiac, medical‑surgical, and telemetry units.

Pay

Pay is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Days shift, 6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m., 36 hours per week. Every other weekend required, with flexibility for some holidays and holiday RTO requests.
