Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse - $2,420 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing assignment in Evansville, Indiana. The position starts 10/26/2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
• Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
• Stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; patient moving/lifting may require up to 50 pounds.
• Possess close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications.
• Minimum 1‑2 years’ recent acute care experience (Telemetry/Med Surg).
• Ability to meet the physical demands described above.
