About the role
The small acute general hospital in Roswell, New Mexico, seeks a Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a 13-week assignment starting immediately. The position requires 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in accordance with medical orders and nursing protocols
- Assess patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Perform basic life support and advanced cardiac life support skills as needed
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in Med Surg and/or Telemetry preferred
- BLS certification required
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN
