Requirements
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS - REQUIRED
- Must have TN active RN license
- No First time travelers
- Must have at least 1 year of experience
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care to adults and geriatrics on an inpatient stroke and TIA unit.
- Manage higher acuity med-surg patients with various diagnoses including stroke, seizure, and respiratory failure.
- Administer medications using Omnicell system and perform special procedures such as peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Float to other units as needed based on skill set and unit need.
