About the role

Award-winning travel nursing agency, NURSE's Etc. Staffing, is currently seeking a Med Surg RN to join their team in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in a Med Surg setting
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning

Requirements

• Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• 2+ years of nursing experience
• Preferred: Certification in clinical specialty area

Qualifications

• Registered nurse diploma
• Possession of an associate or bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective problem-solving skills
