Travel Registered Nurse – Med‑Surg (RN) in Wausau, Wisconsin. This is a 13‑week travel assignment starting on 10/19/2026. Employment type: Travel. Specialty: Med‑Surg. Discipline: RN.

Schedule

48 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts (days).

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post‑surgical care.
• Assess changes in the patient’s health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and other treatment team members.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute‑care Med‑Surg setting.
• Other requirements may be determined by the client facility.

Pay

Compensation is based on 12‑hour shifts and a 48‑hour work week (subject to confirmation). Weekly pay includes a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined, plus reimbursements for meals, incidentals, and housing expenses. Exact hourly rates and stipend amounts will be confirmed by the recruiter.
