Travel Medical-Surgical RN - $2,510 per week

About the role

A Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) position is available at a healthcare organization. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care on a Medical Surgical Floor, primarily working a 12-hour rotating day/night shift schedule. The assignment is structured for 16-26 weeks with the potential for extended duration.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care on a Medical Surgical Floor.
• Focus on vascular access procedures and trauma care.
• Perform IV ultrasound guidance, PICC line management, and administer thrombolytics.
• Rotate between day and night shifts, including every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Medical Surgical specialty.
• Experience with IV ultrasound guidance.
• PICC skills and AVA certification.
• Strong IV skills.
• Large trauma level 1 experience within the last year.
• Recent Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years.
• Reliable transportation; vehicle equipped for winter conditions if applicable.
• Ability to explain any employment gaps over 90 days and provide complete work history details (bed count, EMR system, facility type, etc.).

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

12-hour shifts, Monday through Sunday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Tours include rotating day/night shifts with bi-weekly orientations on Mondays.
