Job Summary

The Medical Surgical Floor (MS) nurse position is available in Bethel, Alaska. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care across various settings, including post-surgical and behavioral health patients. The nurse will conduct initial and re-assessments every 24 hours and collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts with 12 hours per shift, providing a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Must have completed a nursing program approved by the National League for Nursing (NLN).
• New graduates are accepted.
• Must be licensed in good standing as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Successful candidates will be required to pass and maintain competencies for this position and complete Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with pediatric and adult patients, managing behavioral health cases, and active knowledge of medical terminology.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
