About the role

Travel Medical Surgical Floor Nurse position in Exeter, New Hampshire. This role involves providing patient care in a 15-bed medical/surgical unit focused on orthopedic and oncology care. The shift is 12 hours per day, days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The unit provides general inpatient care for adult medical and surgical patients; average patient stay is 3–4 days and typical patient ratios are 5–6:1. Orientation occurs biweekly. Scrubs can be any color. Candidates must have been separated from BILH for six or more months to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care on a 15-bed medical/surgical unit specializing in orthopedic and oncology care

Requirements

• Valid New Hampshire RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 0 years of experience
• Orthopedic care experience required
• BILH coversheet required at time of submission

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel experience
• Medical-surgical unit experience
• Oncology care experience
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical record system
