Travel Medical-Surgical RN - $2,390 per week

About the role

Medical Surgical (MS) Nurse position in Marquette, Michigan. This role involves providing direct patient care in a 225-bed healthcare facility specializing in trauma, neuro, orthopedics, and pediatrics. The position requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to support patients across all age groups over 28 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed neuro/ortho/peds unit.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to support trauma, neuro, ortho, and pediatric patients.
• Utilize electronic health record systems (Paragon and Cerner).
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 1:6.

Requirements

• BLS and PALS certifications.
• Michigan nursing license.
• 2+ years of adult nursing experience.
• 2+ years of pediatric nursing experience.
• Experience in trauma, orthopedics, neuro, or general pediatrics.
• ADN degree.
• Experience with neuro/ortho/peds patient populations.
• Must be at least 60 miles from the facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• PALS certification.

Additional Information

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Unit is a level 2 trauma center.
• Dress code: Galaxy blue scrubs.
