About the role

Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) on the inpatient medical-surgical floor in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on adult patient populations. The position offers a night shift schedule, starting as soon as possible, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment. Float rotation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical floor with adult patients
• Adhere to facility protocols and standards of care
• Work independently within a team environment
• Adapt to shift schedules as needed

Requirements

• Licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of Louisiana
• Epic experience
• Two years of total nursing experience
• At least one year of recent Med/Surg RN experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Travel experience
• Previous experience working with Cerner electronic medical records system

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
