Travel Medical-Surgical RN - $2,240 per week

About the role

Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse (RN) position in a hospital setting, providing care to pre- and post-surgical adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working a rotating 12-hour day/night schedule, including every other weekend and holiday shifts, on a 40-bed post‑surgical care unit with high patient turnover.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pre‑ and post‑surgical adult and geriatric patients.
• Work rotating 12‑hour day/night shifts, including every other weekend and holiday coverage.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to facility policies (e.g., flu‑season vaccination/mask requirements).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in a high‑occupancy, fast‑paced unit.
• Perform documentation using Epic charting system.
• Float to other inpatient units as required.

Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license.
• Basic Life Support (AHA or ARC) certification.
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent medical‑surgical nursing experience.
• Trauma level II experience.
• Epic charting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).

Schedule

12‑hour day/night variable shifts, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday coverage.
