Job Summary

MedSurg Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility located in Iron River, Michigan. This role involves providing general nursing care primarily for geriatric patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, and diabetes on a 25-bed Med/Surg unit.

Job Details

• Location: Iron River, Michigan
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks, starting August 3, 2026
• Shift Requirements: Variable, days only from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm

Required Qualifications

• Current Michigan Registered Nurse license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
• Minimum of 2+ years of Med/Surg experience
• Associate degree or certificate in nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Emergency Department experience preferred

Additional Notes

• Candidates with both Med/Surg and Emergency Department experience are highly preferred.
• Flexibility to work across multiple departments is advantageous.

• 25-bed Med/Surg unit
• Patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6 depending on shift

• Scrubs: Any color
• Masks during flu season: Unvaccinated travelers are required to wear masks at all times, following facility policy.

Pay Package
