About the role
Medical Surgical Floor (RN) in an acute care setting. This role involves providing patient care in a MedSurg environment with specific focus on oncology patient needs and overflow. The position requires adherence to unit policies and a commitment to high-quality care during night shifts.
Schedule
- Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Duration: 18 weeks
- Start Date: 09/14/2026
Responsibilities
- Care for MedSurg patients, including those with oncology diagnoses
- Perform charting in EPIC
- Float within scope as needed
- Adhere to unit policies and maintain high-quality care standards
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- BLS Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Must pass a pass/fail skills exam during orientation with a minimum score of 90%
- Fingernail policy prohibits artificial nails for patient care staff
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced hospital environment with a Level 1 trauma designation
- Location requirements and valid driver’s license required at submission
