Job Summary

The Medical Surgical Floor nursing position is located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This role involves providing comprehensive care to adult patients in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment. The position requires a skilled RN capable of working independently and adhering to established clinical protocols to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• 0 years of experience minimum
• BLS certification from AHA required
• RN License in the state of employment or in a compact state

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred

Additional Information

• The role involves practicing independently, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of situations, and providing routine and complex nursing care.
• Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation using the nursing process, administering medications, monitoring for side effects, documenting care, educating patients and families, and making appropriate clinical decisions.
• The position is a backfill replacement for a current staff member, working full time during night shifts.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
