AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Saint Joseph, Michigan. This role involves delivering high-quality medical-surgical nursing care in a collaborative hospital environment, supporting patients with diverse medical and surgical needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical-surgical nursing care in a hospital setting
• Support patients with diverse medical and surgical needs
• Manage multiple priorities and demonstrate strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Utilize effective communication and teamwork in patient care
• Work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week duration

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Active Michigan Registered Nurse license
• At least 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for submission
• 2 references within the last 36 months

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred)
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems (recommended)
• Oncology Nursing Society certification (preferred)

Skills

Pay

Pay rate: $2016.00 - $2119.00 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (tax-free stipend amount to be determined).
