Travel Medical-Surgical RN - $2,030 per week

Job Summary

The position involves providing patient care across a variety of general, gynecological, breast, abdominal, flap, and ENT cases. The role requires recent experience in medical-surgical environments with a focus on trauma care and electronic medical record systems.

Position Description

The role involves delivering direct patient care on the medical-surgical floor, with responsibilities including managing patient needs in a hospital or medical center setting.

Qualifications

• Current Iowa (IA) license or multistate license
• Recent/current Level I trauma experience (preferred)
• 24 months of recent medical-surgical experience
• Valid drivers license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or ARC
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical record system
• Experience in heparin management

Schedule

Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting on 09/28/2026 and ending on 12/28/2026.

Additional Information

• Candidates must have completed a travel contract within the past 24 months
• No recent employment with the organization's facilities within the last year
• The assignment includes working 1-2 summer holidays, with required orientation on 09/28/2026

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
