About the Role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Edmond, Oklahoma. This is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, starting as soon as possible. The facility is a comprehensive academic healthcare setting offering opportunities to care for diverse and complex cases in a supportive environment, located in a friendly city with suburban comfort and easy access to outdoor recreation.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical-surgical nursing care to patients in a travel RN-MS assignment
- Deliver patient care in a comprehensive academic healthcare setting
- Manage diverse and complex medical-surgical cases
- Utilize electronic medical record systems for patient documentation
- Apply strong assessment, communication, and adaptability skills in daily practice
Requirements
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing
- Active Oklahoma or compact RN license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience required (posting also notes 2 years experience)
- Work history should not have more than a 90-day gap
- 1 reference in entire work history
Qualifications
- Experience with electronic medical record systems is recommended

Pay
Pay rate: $1937.00 – $2036.00 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week duration. Start date: ASAP (posted start date noted as 8/31/2026).
