About the role
Medical Surgical (MS) Nurse position in Beckley, West Virginia. This role involves providing comprehensive care to adult patients within a busy medical-surgical unit. The position requires delivering quality nursing services in a fast-paced healthcare environment, supporting patient recovery and promoting safety.
The facility provides care to approximately 13,000 patients annually and includes services such as surgical care with da Vinci Robotic Surgery, Spine, Orthopaedic, Vascular, Thoracic, and Interventional procedures. Orientation occurs biweekly on Wednesdays.
Schedule
- Days shift, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to adult patients in a medical-surgical unit
- Deliver quality nursing services in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Support patient recovery and promote safety
Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- Certification in Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BLS)
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Location within or at least 60 miles from the facility
- 0 years of nursing experience required
- Must meet all initial certification and credentialing standards prior to assignment
- Required certifications must be obtained prior to start date
