Travel Medical Surgical RN - $1,791 per week

About the role

Travel RN – Medical Surgical position at a 150‑bed Level 3 trauma center in Dickson, Tennessee, 40 miles west of Nashville. You will provide medical‑surgical care to a diverse patient population in an acute care hospital offering emergency, cardiovascular, women’s health, and orthopedic services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct medical‑surgical nursing care to patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in emergency, cardiovascular, women’s health, and orthopedic units.
• Utilize electronic medical record systems (Meditech or similar) for documentation.
• Perform patient assessments, administer treatments, and monitor outcomes.

Requirements

• Active Tennessee RN license or qualifying compact state license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum one year of recent acute care or medical‑surgical nursing experience.
• SSN and date of birth required for onboarding.
• No more than 90 days of employment gap in the past year.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Experience with Meditech or other electronic medical record systems.

Pay

Pay range: $1,746.00 – $1,836.00 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• Start date: ASAP (position available 10/4/2026).
• Duration: 13 weeks.
• Hours: 36 hours per week.
• Shift: 12‑hour nights.
