About the role

Travel nursing position for a Med Surg RN in a hospital setting. The role involves providing patient care in a medical-surgical unit with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 within a 10-bed unit. Shifts are 12-hour night shifts, with options for 3x12 or 4x12 schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in a medical-surgical unit

Requirements

• 1-2 years of recent Med/Surg experience
• Active TX or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification
• No recent employment with the same facility as a permanent staff

Qualifications

• Experience with Epic EMR within the last 6 months (preferred)
