About the role
Aya Healthcare is seeking a Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join their team in Morgantown, WV.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in a medical surgical setting.
- Administer blood products and manage central lines, peripheral lines, and PICC lines.
- Interpret and respond to dysrhythmias, and implement appropriate isolation precautions and PPE.
- Perform wound care and use rapid response/code teams as needed.
- Administer oxygen therapy and manage oxygen tanks.
- Manage IVs and perform starting and maintaining procedures.
- Implement and maintain isolation precautions and PPE.
- Work within the MS/Tele charting system using Cerner.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in WV.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with blood product administration, central line care/management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, MS/Tele, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, use of rapid response/code teams, and wound care/wound vac.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to travel.
- Must be available for 13 weeks.
- Must be available to work 4x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
