About the Role

This is a 13-week night-shift assignment with one opening available. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week, running from 16:30 to 07:00.

Pay

$2,076 to $2,270 weekly, including taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Active VA License or Compact License (quick application process, typically 2 weeks or less)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

• Central line blood draw
• Chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac)
• Colostomy/ileostomy management and care
• Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA) care
• Feeding tube care and management
• Heparin and IV insulin protocols
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• Med/Surg and Telemetry (MS/Tele)
• Nasal Cannula, BiPAP/CPAP management
• Oral suctioning and oxygen administration (including tanks)
• Patient-Controlled Analgesia (PCA)
• Peripheral Line and PICC line management
• Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management
• Renal failure care
• Spinal cord injury and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) care
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Surgical drains and wound care (including Wound Vac)
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Telemetry (on-unit and remote monitoring)
• Total joint replacement care
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams

Previous Charge Nurse experience is preferred.
